I'm a SAHM. I'm a WAHM.

I am a career woman back then, but I always dreaming of being a full time mom if I got married and have babies.

I wanted to become hands on wife and mom. Where I can do whatever I like in managing the house and taking care of my family, in my own way and in my own rules.

I wanted to take care of my kids.  I wanted to watch them grow.  I wanted to guide them, to train them, to discipline them all throughout their lives (while they are still living with me) in my own (with my husband) terms.

I admit that it is a hard decision when I left my job while that very moment, I’m on the peak of my career. I got a raise, a promotion and I also love my role.

But I still made up my mind what I really wanted and I bear in mind not to broke my promise to myself and to God that I will leave my job once I got pregnant, since we are having a hard time to conceived.

Being a stay-at-home mom for me is very challenging yet very rewarding role. Some might say it is not practical nowadays, where life is very hard financially especially if the family relies to just one source of income. But I believe that all of that concerns and challenges will be smooth as a breeze as long as you and your husband help each other. Both of you has discipline with your finances, both of  you agreed that being extravagant; materialistic, spendthrift are not options no more. In short, live a simple life.

If you are a stay-at-home mom, it is not an excuse to give the entire financial obligation to your husband or partner. We are now at 21st Century the "Technology Era" wherein our lives revolve in social media (which has good and bad outcome). This means, we are capable to earn using all our resources, skills, talents, hobbies, interest etc. If you are willing to really help your husband with your family financial needs, you will take risk, take action and do all you can whatever it takes.

Think of what you are capable to do on how to earn money while you are taking care of your household and your kids. There are lots of options lying in front of you. Combine your effort, determination, perseverance, patience, ambitions and goals to focus on what income you are aiming for.

There are lots of works from home to choose from. You can be a virtual assistant, an online teacher, an entrepreneur, an online seller, an advertiser, a broker, a networker, a writer, a blogger, a survey responder, an affiliate marketer and many more. Just choose what you want, choose what enjoys you, then you will never notice that you are getting paid with what you love to do.

To finalize, as a woman, it is our choice whether to become a full time wife/mom or a working wife/mom. Yes, it is not an easy task to be a stay-at-home mom. But, what important is that we are contented. We feel that we do our part, with all our effort and love to become a responsible, a loving and a caring wife and mommy. It is our duty to help our husband or partner in building our family future. It is our role to take care our family.
